6 Week Post-Natal Pilates Course
Congratlations! You’ve recently given birth to a beautiful baby and are probably still in awe of the little miracle that is in your arms. Isn’t it amazing how the female body has been made to be the perfect environment for growing and nurturing a baby! Dispite the pain of childbirth I am always grateful for the experience of carrying a baby. Feeling baby kick and turn inside you and sometimes even feeling them hiccup! Truly amazing!
But despite being made in such a wonderful way, most women feel like they’ve run a marathon in high stilettos – with a bull on their heels. Your body needs some TLC! Your body needs to recover.
The Benefits of Post-Natal Pilates:
- Firm-up an strengthen the body’s core muscles
- By creating a “girdle” around your middle you will develop greater strength in your back and stomach muscles
- Increases arm strength
- Improves posture
- Reduces back pain and tenderness
- Overall conditioning
- Decreased anxiety and increases energy
And let’s not forget the social aspect of being part of a class/group of people going through the same thing that you are.
Our classes are semi-private and therefore kept to 3 per class for maximum attention on you and are booked on a first-come first serve basis.
Classes are run on Saturday mornings in 6-week blocks paid in advance.
